Thou meetest him that joyfully works righteousness, those that remember thee in thy ways. Behold, thou wast angry, and we sinned; in our sins we have been a long time, and shall we be saved?


And those in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.”

Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.”


And when they saw him they worshiped him; but some doubted.


So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.


And he came to her and said, “Hail, O favored one, the Lord is with you!”


And they returned to Jerusalem with great joy,


and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.


Mary took a pound of costly ointment of pure nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.


On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”


Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!”


Finally, brethren, farewell. Mend your ways, heed my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.


Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and learn that I have loved you.
