But Peter followed him at a distance, as far as the courtyard of the high priest, and going inside he sat with the guards to see the end.


But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you mean.”


And when he went out to the porch, another maid saw him, and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”


Nathana-el said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”


Others said, “This is the Christ.” But some said, “Is the Christ to come from Galilee?


They replied, “Are you from Galilee too? Search and you will see that no prophet is to rise from Galilee.”


After him Judas the Galilean arose in the days of the census and drew away some of the people after him; he also perished, and all who followed him were scattered.
