But I tell you, it shall be more tolerable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you.


And Jesus went away from there and withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon.


“Woe to the world for temptations to sin! For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the man by whom the temptation comes!


The Son of man goes as it is written of him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! It would have been better for that man if he had not been born.”


and Jerusalem and Idumea and from beyond the Jordan and from about Tyre and Sidon a great multitude, hearing all that he did, came to him.

On their return the apostles told him what they had done. And he took them and withdrew apart to a city called Beth-saida.


Now Philip was from Beth-saida, the city of Andrew and Peter.


So these came to Philip, who was from Beth-saida in Galilee, and said to him, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”


Now Herod was angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon; and they came to him in a body, and having persuaded Blastus, the king's chamberlain, they asked for peace, because their country depended on the king's country for food.


The next day we put in at Sidon; and Julius treated Paul kindly, and gave him leave to go to his friends and be cared for.


Woe to them! For they walk in the way of Cain, and abandon themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam's error, and perish in Korah's rebellion.


And I will grant my two witnesses power to prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”


When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth, the full moon became like blood,
