But how then should the scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?”


At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me? Day after day I sat in the temple teaching, and you did not seize me.


But all this has taken place, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples forsook him and fled.


And he left there and went to the region of Judea and beyond the Jordan, and crowds gathered to him again; and again, as his custom was, he taught them.


And they came again to Jerusalem. And as he was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to him,


And as Jesus taught in the temple, he said, “How can the scribes say that the Christ is the son of David?


And Jesus said to them, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to capture me?


And they all forsook him, and fled.


And he was teaching daily in the temple. The chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people sought to destroy him;


For I tell you that this scripture must be fulfilled in me, ‘And he was reckoned with transgressors’; for what is written about me has its fulfilment.”


it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the portico of Solomon.


Jesus answered him, “I have spoken openly to the world; I have always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where all Jews come together; I have said nothing secretly.


On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and proclaimed, “If any one thirst, let him come to me and drink.


Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”


Early in the morning he came again to the temple; all the people came to him, and he sat down and taught them.
