On their return the apostles told him what they had done. And he took them and withdrew apart to a city called Beth-saida.


Now the day began to wear away; and the twelve came and said to him, “Send the crowd away, to go into the villages and country round about, to lodge and get provisions; for we are here in a lonely place.”


and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal.


Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to accomplish his work.


All that the Father gives me will come to me; and him who comes to me I will not cast out.


preaching the kingdom of God and teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ quite openly and unhindered.


But how are men to call upon him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without a preacher?


So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes by the preaching of Christ.


For Christ did not please himself; but, as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached thee fell on me.”


preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching.


Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
