But Elijah answered the captain of fifty, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty.” Then fire came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar became the priests.


While he was yet speaking, there came another, and said, “The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you.”


Our God comes, he does not keep silence, before him is a devouring fire, round about him a mighty tempest.


And he said to Moses, “Come up to the Lord, you and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, and worship afar off.


For a burning place has long been prepared; yea, for the king it is made ready, its pyre made deep and wide, with fire and wood in abundance; the breath of the Lord, like a stream of brimstone, kindles it.


So they drew near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp, as Moses had said.

And fire came forth from before the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.


the men who brought up an evil report of the land, died by plague before the Lord.


And fire came forth from the Lord, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men offering the incense.


Now those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died in the affair of Korah.


But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered unholy fire before the Lord.


Immediately she fell down at his feet and died. When the young men came in they found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her beside her husband.


When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and died. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.


Now these things happened to them as a warning, but they were written down for our instruction, upon whom the end of the ages has come.


And he slew some of the men of Beth-shemesh, because they looked into the ark of the Lord; he slew seventy men of them, and the people mourned because the Lord had made a great slaughter among the people.
