These twelve Jesus sent out, charging them, “Go nowhere among the Gentiles, and enter no town of the Samaritans,


Therefore I send you prophets and wise men and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, and some you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from town to town,


that they may all be one; even as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.


I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved them even as thou hast loved me.


O righteous Father, the world has not known thee, but I have known thee; and these know that thou hast sent me.


And this is eternal life, that they know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.


for I have given them the words which thou gavest me, and they have received them and know in truth that I came from thee; and they have believed that thou didst send me.


Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you.”


For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.


I sent you to reap that for which you did not labor; others have labored, and you have entered into their labor.”


So we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We beseech you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.


Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God's grace which was given me by the working of his power.
