O house of Jacob, come, let us walk in the light of the Lord.


Therefore their way shall be to them like slippery paths in the darkness, into which they shall be driven and fall; for I will bring evil upon them in the year of their punishment, says the Lord.


They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.”


But if any one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”


Jesus answered, “Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any one walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.


While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” When Jesus had said this, he departed and hid himself from them.


I have come as light into the world, that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.


“A little while, and you will see me no more; again a little while, and you will see me.”


Jesus then said, “I shall be with you a little longer, and then I go to him who sent me;


Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”


But their minds were hardened; for to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains unlifted, because only through Christ is it taken away.


So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.


for once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light
