Like a swallow or a crane I clamor, I moan like a dove. My eyes are weary with looking upward. O Lord, I am oppressed; be thou my security!


He who gives surety for a stranger will smart for it, but he who hates suretyship is secure.


Be surety for thy servant for good; let not the godless oppress me.
