They close their hearts to pity; with their mouths they speak arrogantly.

A nation which you have not known shall eat up the fruit of your ground and of all your labors; and you shall be only oppressed and crushed continually;


Like a stubborn heifer, Israel is stubborn; can the Lord now feed them like a lamb in a broad pasture?
