He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to what is false, and does not swear deceitfully.


May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for thee.


I wash my hands in innocence, and go about thy altar, O Lord,


The Lord judges the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to the integrity that is in me.


O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous, thou who triest the minds and hearts, thou righteous God.


All in vain have I kept my heart clean and washed my hands in innocence.


With upright heart he tended them, and guided them with skilful hand.


The integrity of the upright guides them, but the crookedness of the treacherous destroys them.


A righteous man who walks in his integrity— blessed are his sons after him!


My God sent his angel and shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me, because I was found blameless before him; and also before you, O king, I have done no wrong.”


For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience that we have behaved in the world, and still more toward you, with holiness and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God.


You are witnesses, and God also, how holy and righteous and blameless was our behavior to you believers;


though I formerly blasphemed and persecuted and insulted him; but I received mercy because I had acted ignorantly in unbelief,
