From these the coastland peoples spread. These are the sons of Japheth in their lands, each with his own language, by their families, in their nations.


The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which flows around the whole land of Cush.


After Noah was five hundred years old, Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.


The sons of Noah who went forth from the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham was the father of Canaan.
