The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.


“Thus says the Lord: Stand in the court of the Lord's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah which come to worship in the house of the Lord all the words that I command you to speak to them; do not hold back a word.


For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.


“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’


To give a human example, brethren: no one annuls even a man's will, or adds to it, once it has been ratified.


And in the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses spoke to the people of Israel according to all that the Lord had given him in commandment to them,


“Everything that I command you shall be careful to do; you shall not add to it or take from it.


“If a prophet arises among you, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives you a sign or a wonder,


when Moses commanded us a law, as a possession for the assembly of Jacob.


And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and ordinances, that you might do them in the land which you are going over to possess.


Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God gives you for ever.”


Behold, I have taught you statutes and ordinances, as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land which you are entering to take possession of it.


Oh that they had such a mind as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their children for ever!


You shall be careful to do therefore as the Lord your God has commanded you; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.


Only be strong and very courageous, being careful to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded you; turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may have good success wherever you go.


There was not a word of all that Moses commanded which Joshua did not read before all the assembly of Israel, and the women, and the little ones, and the sojourners who lived among them.
