I will not punish your daughters when they play the harlot, nor your brides when they commit adultery; for the men themselves go aside with harlots, and sacrifice with cult prostitutes, and a people without understanding shall come to ruin.


You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law; she is your son's wife, you shall not uncover her nakedness.


You shall not give any of your children to devote them by fire to Molech, and so profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.


You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's wife; it is your father's nakedness.


I myself will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, defiling my sanctuary and profaning my holy name.


“Hear this word, you cows of Bashan, who are in the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, who say to their husbands, ‘Bring, that we may drink!’


Therefore because you trample upon the poor and take from him exactions of wheat, you have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink their wine.


For I know how many are your transgressions, and how great are your sins— you who afflict the righteous, who take a bribe, and turn aside the needy in the gate.


Hear this, you who trample upon the needy, and bring the poor of the land to an end,


They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away; they oppress a man and his house, a man and his inheritance.


The women of my people you drive out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my glory for ever.


Her officials within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves that leave nothing till the morning.


For, as it is written, “The name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”


It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and of a kind that is not found even among pagans; for a man is living with his father's wife.
