May his children wander about and beg; may they be driven out of the ruins they inhabit!


And if I cast out demons by Be-elzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.


But Jesus was silent. And the high priest said to him, “I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”


and crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me.”


John said to him, “Teacher, we saw a man casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he was not following us.”


And if I cast out demons by Be-elzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges.


John answered, “Master, we saw a man casting out demons in your name, and we forbade him, because he does not follow with us.”


Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this.


For if some one comes and preaches another Jesus than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or if you accept a different gospel from the one you accepted, you submit to it readily enough.


Joshua laid an oath upon them at that time, saying, “Cursed before the Lord be the man that rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. “At the cost of his first-born shall he lay its foundation, and at the cost of his youngest son shall he set up its gates.”
