But Peter, standing with the eleven, lifted up his voice and addressed them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words.


And Peter said to them, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.


Let it be known to you then that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen.”


be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him this man is standing before you well.


God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.


In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace


and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

But as it is, Christ has obtained a ministry which is as much more excellent than the old as the covenant he mediates is better, since it is enacted on better promises.


Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.


I am writing to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven for his sake.
