“We found the prison securely locked and the sentries standing at the doors, but when we opened it we found no one inside.”


for which I am an ambassador in chains; that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.


I would have said, “I will scatter them afar, I will make the remembrance of them cease from among men,”


May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me; he was not ashamed of my chains,


Hence we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid; what can man do to me?”
