What then is my reward? Just this: that in my preaching I may make the gospel free of charge, not making full use of my right in the gospel.


For in what were you less favored than the rest of the churches, except that I myself did not burden you? Forgive me this wrong!


For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.


Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name,


Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the church,


So we ought to support such men, that we may be fellow workers in the truth.


I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary.
