So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.


And sons were born to David at Hebron: his first-born was Amnon, of Ahino-am of Jezreel;


and his second, Chile-ab, of Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel; and the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;


The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination; how much more when he brings it with evil intent.
