Where now is your king, to save you; where are all your princes, to defend you— those of whom you said, “Give me a king and princes”?


Though they hire allies among the nations, I will soon gather them up. And they shall cease for a little while from anointing king and princes.


“The Lord will bring you, and your king whom you set over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known; and there you shall serve other gods, of wood and stone.
