And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.


And Jesus answered them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray.


But take heed; I have told you all things beforehand.


“But take heed to yourselves; for they will deliver you up to councils; and you will be beaten in synagogues; and you will stand before governors and kings for my sake, to bear testimony before them.


And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’


And he said, “Take heed that you are not led astray; for many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.


He who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.


Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.


If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.


He who plants and he who waters are equal, and each shall receive his wages according to his labor.


Did you experience so many things in vain?—if it really is in vain.


I am afraid I have labored over you in vain.


Only let us hold true to what we have attained.


But recall the former days when, after you were enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings,


Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.


See to it that no one fail to obtain the grace of God; that no “root of bitterness” spring up and cause trouble, and by it the many become defiled;


I am coming soon; hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.
