But thou, O Lord, art enthroned for ever; thy name endures to all generations.


They will perish, but thou dost endure; they will all wear out like a garment. Thou changest them like raiment, and they pass away;


For ever, O Lord, thy word is firmly fixed in the heavens.


A voice says, “Cry!” And I said, “What shall I cry?” All flesh is grass, and all its beauty is like the flower of the field.


The grass withers, the flower fades; but the word of our God will stand for ever.


For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.


But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away, than for one dot of the law to become void.


In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.


And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father.


For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.


And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near;


To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,


and at the proper time manifested in his word through the preaching with which I have been entrusted by command of God our Savior;


and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come,


It was revealed to them that they were serving not themselves but you, in the things which have now been announced to you by those who preached the good news to you through the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, things into which angels long to look.


You have been born anew, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;


Like newborn babes, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up to salvation;


And we have the prophetic word made more sure. You will do well to pay attention to this as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.


That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon and touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—


that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you may have fellowship with us; and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.


Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and tongue and people;
