the Lord appeared to Solomon a second time, as he had appeared to him at Gibeon.


And he said, “Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision, I speak with him in a dream.


But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit;


Now when they had departed, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there till I tell you; for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.”


But when Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying,


And he said to them, “What do you want me to do for you?”


Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.


You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.


If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
