and that to thee, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For thou dost requite a man according to his work.


He who tends a fig tree will eat its fruit, and he who guards his master will be honored.


And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.


For the Son of man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done.


And he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’


For he will render to every man according to his works:


Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.


If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward.


So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.


For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.


For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel.


Who serves as a soldier at his own expense? Who plants a vineyard without eating any of its fruit? Who tends a flock without getting some of the milk?


But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.


For each man will have to bear his own load.


For God is not so unjust as to overlook your work and the love which you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.


And when the chief Shepherd is manifested you will obtain the unfading crown of glory.


Look to yourselves, that you may not lose what you have worked for, but may win a full reward.


and I will strike her children dead. And all the churches shall know that I am he who searches mind and heart, and I will give to each of you as your works deserve.


“Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense, to repay every one for what he has done.
