The Lord's my strength and shield; my heart upon him did rely; And I am helped: hence my heart doth joy exceedingly, And with my song I will him praise.


Our God, who is the Lord of hosts, is still upon our side; The God of Jacob our refuge for ever will abide.


The mighty God, the Lord, hath spoken, and did call The earth, from rising of the sun, to where he hath his fall.


Lo, this the man is that did not make God his strength at all: But he in his abundant wealth his confidence did place; And he took strength unto himself from his own wickedness.


All lands to God in joyful sounds, aloft your voices raise.


O let the nations be glad, in songs their voices raise: Thou'lt justly people judge, on earth rule nations all.


How excellent in all the earth, Lord, our Lord, is thy name! Who hast thy glory far advanc'd above the starry frame.
