The heathen rag'd tumultuously, the kingdoms moved were: The Lord God uttered his voice, the earth did melt for fear.


The Lord of hosts upon our side doth constantly remain: The God of Jacob's our refuge, us safely to maintain.


I'll praise thee 'mong the people, Lord; 'mong nations sing will I:


Do not forget the voice of those that are thine enemies: Of those the tumult ever grows that do against thee rise.


Against thy chosen people they do crafty counsel take; And they against thy hidden ones do consultations make.
