To judge the fatherless, and those that are oppressed sore; That man, that is but sprung of earth, may them oppress no more.


God righteous judgment executes for all oppressed ones.


For poor oppress'd, and for the sighs of needy, rise will I, Saith God, and him in safety set from such as him defy.


Who doth all flesh with food relieve: for he hath mercy ever.


From prison bring my soul, that I thy name may glorify: The just shall compass me, when thou with me deal'st bounteously.


And all my bones shall say, O Lord, who is like unto thee, Which dost the poor set free from him that is for him too strong; The poor and needy from the man that spoils and does him wrong?


God doth the solitary set in fam'lies: and from bands The chain'd doth free; but rebels do inhabit parched lands.


O God, what time thou didst go forth before thy people's face; And when through the great wilderness thy glorious marching was;


The people's poor ones he shall judge, the needy's children save; And those shall he in pieces break who them oppressed have.


The Lord is by the judgment known which he himself hath wrought: The sinners' hands do make the snares wherewith themselves are caught.
