Upon thy statutes my delight shall constantly be set: And, by thy grace, I never will thy holy word forget.

For me the wicked have laid wait, me seeking to destroy: But I thy testimonies true consider will with joy.

The proud for me a snare have hid, and cords; yea, they a net Have by the way-side for me spread; they gins for me have set.

O Lord, how are my foes increas'd? against me many rise.
