It is time for the Lord to act, for your law has been broken.


so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.


And in this place I will make void the plans of Judah and Jerusalem and will make them fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hand of those who seek their life. I will give their dead bodies for food to the birds of the air and to the wild animals of the earth.


But if her husband nullifies them at the time that he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows or concerning her pledge shall not stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the Lord will forgive her.


But if he nullifies them some time after he has heard of them, then he shall bear her guilt.”


Do we then overthrow the law through this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.


For this reason the promise depends on faith, in order that it may rest on grace, so that it may be guaranteed to all his descendants, not only to the adherents of the law but also to those who share the faith of Abraham (who is the father of all of us,


Has Christ been divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?


I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.


You who want to be reckoned as righteous by the law have cut yourselves off from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.


and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law but one that comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God based on faith.


(for the law made nothing perfect); there is, on the other hand, the introduction of a better hope through which we approach God.


For the law appoints as high priests humans, who are subject to weakness, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.
