Then David said to the whole assembly, “Bless the Lord your God.” And all the assembly blessed the Lord, the God of their ancestors, and bowed their heads and prostrated themselves before the Lord and the king.


When all the people of Israel saw the fire come down and the glory of the Lord on the temple, they bowed down on the pavement with their faces to the ground and worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.”


Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell on the ground and worshiped.


Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness.


God is king over the nations; God sits on his holy throne.


May all kings fall down before him, all nations give him service.


O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!


In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lofty, and the hem of his robe filled the temple.


The man clothed in linen, who was upstream, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven. And I heard him swear by the one who lives forever that it would be for a time, two times, and half a time and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be accomplished.


When that period was over, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my reason returned to me. I blessed the Most High and praised and honored the one who lives forever. For his sovereignty is an everlasting sovereignty, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation.


On entering the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they knelt down and paid him homage. Then, opening their treasure chests, they offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.


And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

Then the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God,


Lord, who will not fear and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your judgments have been revealed.”


Then one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever;


And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who is seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah!”


At once I was in the spirit, and there in heaven stood a throne, with one seated on the throne!


Around the throne are twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones are twenty-four elders, dressed in white robes, with golden crowns on their heads.


And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever,


And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the elders fell down and worshiped.


When he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, each holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.


And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,
