They tested God in their heart by demanding the food they craved.


So that place was called Kibroth-hattaavah, because there they buried the people who had the craving.


The camp followers with them had a strong craving, and the Israelites also wept again and said, “If only we had meat to eat!


What, then, did you go out to see? Someone dressed in soft robes? Look, those who wear soft robes are in royal palaces.

You want something and do not have it, so you commit murder. And you covet something and cannot obtain it, so you engage in disputes and conflicts. You do not have because you do not ask.


cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, olive oil, choice flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, slaves—and human lives.


The merchants of these wares, who grew wealthy from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud,
