Rejoice then, you heavens and those who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, for the devil has come down to you with great wrath because he knows that his time is short!”


For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made by human hands, a mere copy of the true one, but he entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.


For out of the heart come evil intentions, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.


You brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.


And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them and be their God;


Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints and apostles and prophets! For God has condemned her condemnation of you.


Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here!” And they went up to heaven in a cloud while their enemies watched them.


After this I looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands.


Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea and all that is in them, singing, “To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”


Around the throne are twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones are twenty-four elders, dressed in white robes, with golden crowns on their heads.


After this I looked, and there in heaven a door stood open! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.”


For a tent was constructed, the first one, in which were the lampstand, the table, and the bread of the Presence; this is called the holy place.


“Their throats are opened graves; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of vipers is under their lips.”


For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,


For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,


And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.


After this Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.


They set their mouths against heaven, and their tongues range over the earth.


I was considering the horns when another horn appeared, a little one that came up among them. Three of the original horns were plucked up from before it. There were eyes like human eyes in this horn and a mouth speaking arrogantly.


He shall speak words against the Most High, shall wear out the holy ones of the Most High, and shall attempt to change the ritual calendar and the law, and they shall be given into his power for a time, two times, and half a time.


“The king shall act as he pleases. He shall exalt himself and consider himself greater than any god and shall speak horrendous things against the God of gods. He shall prosper until the period of wrath is completed, for what is determined shall be done.


For this reason they are before the throne of God and worship him day and night within his temple, and the one who is seated on the throne will shelter them.


After this I looked, and the temple of the tent of witness in heaven was opened,
