The man clothed in linen, who was upstream, raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven. And I heard him swear by the one who lives forever that it would be for a time, two times, and half a time and that when the shattering of the power of the holy people comes to an end all these things would be accomplished.


“People, why are you doing this? We are mortals just like you, and we bring you good news, that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them.


For as I went through the city and looked carefully at the objects of your worship, I found among them an altar with the inscription, ‘To an unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you.


Ever since the creation of the world God’s eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been seen and understood through the things God has made. So they are without excuse,


For I lift up my hand to heaven and swear, As I live forever,


When God made a promise to Abraham, because he had no one greater by whom to swear, he swore by himself,


and the Living One. I was dead, and see, I am alive forever and ever, and I have the keys of Death and of Hades.


He held a little scroll open in his hand. Setting his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,


He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.”


The seventh angel poured his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”


“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”


And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
