Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them: O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.


And he said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the whore is seated, are peoples and multitudes and nations and languages.


Then I saw another angel flying in midheaven, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation and tribe and language and people.


For three and a half days members of the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb,


Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, mortal, and say to the breath: Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.”


They sing a new song: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to break its seals, for you were slaughtered and by your blood you ransomed for God saints from every tribe and language and people and nation;


So I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it; it was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.


Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Come and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there,


of whom five have fallen, one is living, and the other has not yet come, and when he comes he must remain only a little while.


And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they are to receive authority as kings for one hour, together with the beast.


I will bring upon that land all the words that I have uttered against it, everything written in this book that Jeremiah prophesied against all the nations.
