The iniquities of the wicked ensnare them, and they are caught in the coils of their sin.


Let ruin come on them unawares, and let the net that they hid ensnare them; let them fall in it—to their ruin.


Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity, and the rod of anger will fail.


He will repay them for their iniquity and wipe them out for their wickedness; the Lord our God will wipe them out.


their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.


I will sing to the Lord because he has dealt bountifully with me.


Now I know that the Lord will help his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with mighty victories by his right hand.


Then my soul shall rejoice in the Lord, exulting in his deliverance.


And let them offer thanksgiving sacrifices and tell of his deeds with songs of joy.
