Listen to me, O coastlands; pay attention, you peoples from far away! The Lord called me before I was born; while I was in my mother’s womb he named me.


I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.


Have you not just now called to me, “My Father, you are the friend of my youth—


I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me.


But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more.

Do not be far from me, for trouble is near, and there is no one to help.


Happy are those who make the Lord their trust, who do not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after false gods.
