The Lord rises to argue his case; he stands to judge the peoples.


The Lord works vindication and justice for all who are oppressed.


Then the Lord awoke as from sleep, like a warrior shouting because of wine.


Direct your steps to the perpetual ruins; the enemy has destroyed everything in the sanctuary.


They are like a dream when one awakes; on awaking you despise their phantoms.


You, Lord God of hosts, are God of Israel. Awake to punish all the nations; spare none of those who treacherously plot evil. Selah


Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me!
