I will exult and rejoice in your steadfast love, because you have seen my affliction; you have taken notice of my adversities


Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.


Answer me when I call, O God of my right! You gave me room when I was in distress. Be gracious to me, and hear my prayer.


God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.


O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I plead my case to you and watch.


In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted.


For great is your steadfast love toward me; you have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.


But I, O Lord, cry out to you; in the morning my prayer comes before you.


I will sing of your steadfast love, O Lord, forever; with my mouth I will proclaim your faithfulness to all generations.


Your right hand, O Lord, glorious in power— your right hand, O Lord, shattered the enemy.


Alas! that day is so great there is none like it; it is a time of distress for Jacob, yet he shall be rescued from it.


and that the gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will confess you among the gentiles and sing praises to your name”;


He who rescued us from so deadly a peril will continue to rescue us; on him we have set our hope that he will rescue us again,


Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine,


In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission.


David said, “The Lord, who saved me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, will save me from the hand of this Philistine.” So Saul said to David, “Go, and may the Lord be with you!”
