With violence he seizes my garment; he grasps me by the collar of my tunic.


My flesh is clothed with worms and dirt; my skin hardens, then breaks out again.


For my days pass away like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace.


They think that a deadly thing has fastened on me, that I will not rise again from where I lie.


And immediately, because he had not given the glory to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.
