When your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come forth from your body, and I will establish his kingdom.

He replied, “It is not for you to know the times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.


That night the Lord stood near him and said, “Keep up your courage! For just as you have testified for me in Jerusalem, so you must bear witness also in Rome.”


and he said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must stand before the emperor, and, indeed, God has granted safety to all those who are sailing with you.’


As for me, I am already being poured out as a libation, and the time of my departure has come.


since I know that my death will come soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.


David said, “As the Lord lives, the Lord will strike him down, or his day will come to die, or he will go down into battle and perish.
