O rider in the heavens, the ancient heavens; listen, he sends out his voice, his mighty voice.


Ascribe power to God, whose majesty is over Israel and whose power is in the skies.


More majestic than the thunders of mighty waters, more majestic than the waves of the sea, majestic on high is the Lord!


And the Lord will cause his majestic voice to be heard and the descending blow of his arm to be seen, in furious anger and a flame of devouring fire, with a cloudburst and tempest and hailstones.


Listen, a roar from the city! A voice from the temple! The voice of the Lord, dealing retribution to his enemies!


The sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God Almighty when he speaks.


And he said: The Lord roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds wither, and the top of Carmel dries up.


They were all astounded and kept saying to one another, “What kind of word is this, that with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits and they come out?”


Then he said to them, “Where is your faith?” They were terrified and amazed and said to one another, “Who then is this, that he commands even the winds and the water and they obey him?”
