It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens like a curtain and spreads them like a tent to live in,


I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when panic strikes you,


The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven. His eyes behold; his gaze examines humankind.

This is the word that the Lord has spoken concerning him: She despises you; she scorns you— virgin daughter Zion; she tosses her head—behind your back, daughter Jerusalem.


O my strength, I will watch for you, for you, O God, are my fortress.


To you I lift up my eyes, O you who are enthroned in the heavens!
