Now go, I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.”


a reminder to the Israelites that no outsider, who is not of the descendants of Aaron, shall approach to offer incense before the Lord, so as not to become like Korah and his congregation, just as the Lord had said to him through Moses.


You shall set the two stones on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, as stones of remembrance for the sons of Israel, and Aaron shall bear their names before the Lord on his two shoulders for remembrance.


The Lord said to Moses, “See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron shall be your prophet.


For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.


You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.


Samuel said to the people, “The Lord is witness, who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your ancestors up out of the land of Egypt.


Then I sent Moses and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt with what I did in its midst, and afterward I brought you out.


Each one threw down his staff, and they became snakes, but Aaron’s staff swallowed up theirs.


“Go and tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the Israelites go out of his land.”


The Lord said to Aaron, “Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.” So he went, and he met him at the mountain of God and kissed him.


Then Moses and Aaron went and assembled all the elders of the Israelites.
