Happy are those who observe justice, who do righteousness at all times.


Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.


Go away from me, you evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.


Happy are the people to whom such blessings fall; happy are the people whose God is the Lord.


Happy are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God,


The Lord watches over the strangers; he upholds the orphan and the widow, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.


kiss his feet, or he will be angry, and you will perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Happy are all who take refuge in him.


My foot stands on level ground; in the great congregation I will bless the Lord.


O taste and see that the Lord is good; happy are those who take refuge in him.

O Lord of hosts, happy is everyone who trusts in you.

“How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?


Good sense wins favor, but the way of the faithless is their ruin.


Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm.


Punishments are prepared for scoffers and flogging for the backs of fools.


It will save you from the way of evil, from those who speak perversely,


Toward the scorners he is scornful, but to the humble he shows favor.


The way of the wicked is like deep darkness; they do not know what they stumble over.


If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; if you scoff, you alone will bear it.


I did not sit in the company of merrymakers, nor did I rejoice; under the weight of your hand I sat alone, for you had filled me with indignation.


Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they will have the right to the tree of life and may enter the city by the gates.
