“Whoever welcomes you welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me.


I am sending him, that is, my own heart, back to you.


Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters. Has not God chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and to be heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?

Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful to them on the ground that they are brothers and sisters; rather, they must serve them all the more, since those who benefit by their service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these duties.


It is right for me to think this way about all of you, because I hold you in my heart, for all of you are my partners in God’s grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel.


If he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge that to me.
