Then shall the young women rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old shall be merry. I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them and give them gladness for sorrow.

Also on your days of rejoicing, at your appointed festivals, and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over your sacrifices of well-being; they shall serve as a reminder on your behalf before the Lord your God: I am the Lord your God.”


But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the amazing things that he did and heard the children crying out in the temple and saying, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they became angry


The crowds that went ahead of him and that followed were shouting, “Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!”


So you have pain now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.


as you sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to one another, singing and making melody to the Lord in your hearts,


Are any among you suffering? They should pray. Are any cheerful? They should sing songs of praise.


When the ark of the covenant of the Lord came into the camp, all Israel gave a mighty shout, so that the earth resounded.
