When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood at the entrance of the cave. Then there came a voice to him that said, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”


At that place he came to a cave and spent the night there. Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”


Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked or take the path that sinners tread or sit in the seat of scoffers,


The crowds were saying, “This is the prophet Jesus from Nazareth in Galilee.”


Then the chief priests and the elders of the people gathered in the courtyard of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,


But Peter was following him at a distance, as far as the courtyard of the high priest, and going inside he sat with the guards in order to see how this would end.


But he denied it before all of them, saying, “I do not know what you are talking about.”


When he went out to the porch, another female servant saw him, and she said to the bystanders, “This man was with Jesus the Nazarene.”


Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”


Others said, “This is the Messiah.” But some asked, “Surely the Messiah does not come from Galilee, does he?


They replied, “Surely you are not also from Galilee, are you? Search and you will see that no prophet is to arise from Galilee.” [[


After him Judas the Galilean rose up at the time of the census and got people to follow him; he also perished, and all who followed him were scattered.
