Then Elisha prayed, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the servant, and he saw; the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.


A stream of fire issued and flowed out from his presence. A thousand thousands served him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood attending him. The court sat in judgment, and the books were opened.


“When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory.


Then the devil left him, and suddenly angels came and waited on him.


They came to Jesus and saw the man possessed by demons sitting there, clothed and in his right mind, the very man who had had the legion, and they became frightened.


Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” He replied, “My name is Legion, for we are many.”


Jesus then asked him, “What is your name?” He said, “Legion,” for many demons had entered him.


No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it up again. I have received this command from my Father.”


Jesus answered, “My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my kingdom belonged to this world, my followers would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not from here.”


and to give relief to the afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels
