Then he ordered them to get all the people to sit down in groups on the green grass.


Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed and broke the loaves and gave them to his disciples to set before the people, and he divided the two fish among them all.

And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed and broke them and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.


So they took away the stone. And Jesus looked upward and said, “Father, I thank you for having heard me.


But some boats from Tiberias came near the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.


After he had said this, he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all, he broke it and began to eat.


Those who observe the day, observe it for the Lord. Also those who eat, eat for the Lord, since they give thanks to God, while those who abstain, abstain for the Lord and give thanks to God.


The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?


So, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.


and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”


And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.


As soon as you enter the town, you will meet him before he goes up to the shrine to eat. For the people will not eat until he comes, since he must bless the sacrifice; afterward those eat who are invited. Now go up, for you will meet him immediately.”
