And some people were carrying to him a paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Take heart, child; your sins are forgiven.”


So throwing off his cloak, he sprang up and came to Jesus.


Jesus stood still and ordered the man to be brought to him, and when he came near, he asked him,


When she had said this, she went back and called her sister Mary and told her privately, “The Teacher is here and is calling for you.”


Therefore he had to become like his brothers and sisters in every respect, so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the service of God, to make a sacrifice of atonement for the sins of the people.


For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin.
